Job Purpose
The Procurement & Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing procurement, supplier coordination, material movement, logistics, and inventory support for mining and exploration projects, ensuring that all required materials, equipment, spare parts, and consumables are available at the project site on time and at competitive costs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement
Manage the complete procurement process from Purchase Requisition to delivery.
Source and evaluate local and international suppliers.
Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate prices and commercial terms.




Prepare Purchase Orders and maintain proper procurement records.
Procure mining equipment, spare parts, tools, PPE, lubricants, fuel, electrical items, construction materials, camp supplies, and other project requirements.
Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, quality, and pricing.
Develop and maintain an updated supplier/vendor database.
2. Logistics & Transportation
Coordinate transportation of materials, equipment, spare parts, and other supplies to project and mine sites.
Coordinate with transporters, clearing agents, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.
Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate loading, unloading, dispatch, and receipt of materials.
Monitor and control transportation and logistics costs.
