Role Description The Vendor Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The role involves managing relationships with existing and potential vendors, including educational material suppliers, facility and technology partners, and other service providers supporting academy operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating vendor performance, negotiating contracts and pricing,



coordinating procurement and delivery schedules, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines. The Vendor Relationship Manager will collaborate with academic and administrative teams to understand operational needs, track budgets related to vendor services, resolve issues promptly, and maintain accurate records and reports. The role also includes identifying new vendor opportunities to improve efficiency and support the Academy’s training and student support objectives.
Qualifications
Strong vendor management skills, including relationship building, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
Experience in contract negotiation, pricing discussions, and basic procurement processes.
Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple vendor accounts and deadlines.
