We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-oriented qualified to lead our Business Control Tower, Fleet Optimization and EV Energy Analytics function.
This is not an MIS reporting role. The person must actively challenge under-utilisation, identify productivity gaps and work with Operations, Fleet, Maintenance and Site teams to improve business results.
The primary objective is simple:
Maximum Fleet Utilisation + Maximum Vehicle Productivity + Minimum Idle Time + Optimum Fuel/Energy Cost + Maximum Contribution per Vehicle
Key Responsibilities
• Take central ownership of fleet utilisation and optimisation across all projects and locations.
• Monitor deployed, available, idle,



breakdown and under-utilised vehicles daily.
• Ensure every available vehicle is deployed where it can deliver the highest productivity and commercial return.
• Identify surplus fleet at one project and coordinate redeployment to higher-demand operations.
• Improve trips per vehicle, kilometres per vehicle, MT/TEU/container productivity and overall asset utilisation.
• Reduce idle vehicles, empty kilometres, waiting time and unproductive movement.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and work directly with Site and Operations teams for corrective action.
• Monitor vehicle-wise and project-wise performance through a central Business Control Tower.
• Develop dashboards covering fleet, operations, targets, maintenance, drivers, customer SLA, costs and profitability.
• Track daily and monthly target vs achievement across all projects.
• Identify vehicles and projects operating below expected productivity.
