Bangalore International School is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Elementary School Homeroom Teacher to join our team.

? Grades: G3–G5
? Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent
? Joining: Immediate / October 2026 at the latest

What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Minimum 3 years of elementary teaching experience, preferably with Grades 3–5.
Experience with or knowledge of the Cambridge and/or IB curriculum.
Strong conceptual and teaching skills in English and Social Studies.
Experience with inquiry-based and/or concept-based learning.
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
A learner-centred approach that encourages students to ask questions, make connections, explore ideas, investigate and construct their own understanding.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in an inquiry-driven or concept-based learning setting will be an added advantage.
