Position Summary
The School of Computer Applications invites applications for the position of Associate Professor / Professor in BCA and MCA programs. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting research, mentoring students, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting the academic and administrative activities of the department.
Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Applications, Computer Science and related areas.
Develop and deliver research-oriented, industry-relevant courses.
Establish and lead independent research projects and research collaborations.
Publish high-quality research papers in Scopus-indexed / Web of Science / reputed peer-reviewed journals.
Guide PG projects, dissertations and Ph.D. scholars.
Develop research proposals and contribute to funded research projects, consultancy and industry collaborations.
Mentor junior faculty and research scholars.
Build national and international academic/research collaborations.
Contribute to curriculum development, academic administration and accreditation activities.
Participate in conferences, workshops, seminars and other scholarly activities.
Research Excellence – DSU Preferred Criteria
Candidates with the following profile will be strongly preferred:
Scopus H-index: 6 or above
Google Scholar H-index: 8 or above
Strong publication record in Scopus-indexed / Web
