About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Assistant Sales Manager to join our Mumbai team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Malad and aligned with Australian business hours.
The successful candidate will support the sales team in managing customer accounts,
responding to enquiries and building strong relationships with buyers and distributors in the agro commodities sector.
This role requires someone who can work autonomously, solve problems proactively and make decisions with the company’s overall interests in mind.
Key Responsibilities
Support the management and development of customer accounts.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries.
Prepare quotations, sales proposals and related documentation.
Coordinate order processing, deliveries and customer follow-ups.
Liaise with the sales, operations, logistics and accounts teams.
Monitor open orders and help resolve delivery or customer-service issues.
Maintain accurate customer, pricing and sales information in internal systems.
Track sales performance and prepare regular reports for management.
Conduct market research and identify potential customers and business opportunities.
