Role Summary
Seeking a hands-on Embedded Engineer with 4+ years of experience to lead the software design, implementation, and validation of ECU cybersecurity features. You will act as both a technical Individual Contributor and Architect—integrating AUTOSAR crypto stacks, writing secure boot firmware, and validating hardware-rooted security across automotive platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Security Development: Implement low-level embedded software in C/C++ for Secure Boot, Secure Flash/FOTA, PKI/Crypto algorithms, and HSM firmwares.
AUTOSAR & HSM Stack: Configure and integrate the AUTOSAR Crypto Stack (CSM, CryIf, Crypto Driver) using Vector vHSM or equivalent stacks.
Protocols & Diagnostics: Implement UDS Security Access ($27 / $29), SecOC, and Key Management over CAN-FD, DoIP, and Ethernet.
Security Validation: Perform hands-on security testing, including Fuzzing, Penetration Testing,
and Vulnerability Assessments directly on target hardware.
Architecture & Standards: Drive security design and ensure compliance with ISO 21434 and UNECE R155/R156.
Technical Requirements
Core: 4+ years in Embedded C/C++ and low-level driver development for automotive ECUs.
AUTOSAR: Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR Classic crypto modules and HSM integration.
Silicon Platforms: Direct experience with Infineon AURIX, NXP S32, TI AM26x, Renesas RH850, or STM32.
Cryptography & Testing: Practical knowledge of AES, ECC, RSA, SHA, X.509, and testing tools (Vector CANoe, vTESTstudio, static analyzers).
Preferred
B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
Practical exposure to TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment).
