The Role
Accounting & Controllership
Lead end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for payment aggregation, acquiring, issuing, merchant settlements, and fintech products.
Ensure compliance with Ind AS, IFRS, Companies Act requirements, and internal accounting policies.
Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closure processes.
Review revenue recognition, settlement accounting, liabilities, merchant payables, escrow balances, and related reconciliations.




Establish strong financial controls and governance frameworks to support business growth.
Partner with business, product, and technology teams to evaluate accounting implications of new products and initiatives.

Payments & Settlement Operations
Own accounting and governance around payment transactions, merchant settlements, MDR revenue, interchange, bank charges, incentives, and refunds.
Ensure accurate settlement lifecycle management across acquiring banks, payment gateways, networks, merchants, and partners.
Oversee reconciliation of transaction data across systems, settlement reports, bank statements, and GL.
Drive resolution of settlement exceptions, breaks, aged open items, and operational risks.
Build scalable controls around high-volume transaction processing environments.

Regulatory Reporting & Compliance
Lead regulatory reporting requirements applicable to Payment Aggregators, Payment Gateways, and other regulated fintech businesses.
Drive compliance with RBI gui
