Their main responsibility is to ensure that materials required for production or distribution are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right cost
Your Key Responsibilities
Managing Inventory _ Ensuring Inventory accurancy and complaince with stock control systems
Operational efficiency: implementin and maintaining efficient warehsoue processess
Team Leadership - Safety, training , team building & motivating warehsoue operatives
Safety & Complaince : Ensuring complaince with health and safety regulation
Cost control : managing budgets and expenses to optimize operations (Logistics cost redcution every year)
To lead the operations team (Warehouse and Distribution).
To ensure that all documentation is filed as per operational and company requirements.
To ensure that all company equipment is handled and driven in a responsible manner at all times
To assess workloads within the allocated team and allocate resources adequately on a day-to-day basis
To assist establish KPIs and ensure that the customers’ KPIs are met continuously as well as efficiently and cost-effectively
To observe all company quality requirements at all times
To ensure that expenses are kept to a minimum at all times.
