- Responsibilities
As a Product Designer 2, you will own meaningful end-to-end experiences within a defined product area. You’ll translate complex financial workflows into intuitive, well-crafted solutions that balance customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints. This role is about delivering high-quality work with increasing independence and judgment — and raising the bar for usability and craft within your domain.
Strategic Design Contribution:
- Translate product strategy into clear interaction models and experience improvements
- Identify usability gaps and workflow friction within your domain
- Define feature-level success metrics and partner with Product to measure outcomes
Craft Excellence & Systems Thinking:
- Deliver polished, end-to-end interaction and visual design
- Design for edge cases, error states,
and real-world financial complexity
- Ensure consistency within your product area through shared standards
- Contribute improvements to interaction patterns and reusable components
Data Fluency & Technical Partnership:
- Use research and behavioral data to inform design decisions
- Partner closely with Engineering to ensure feasibility and clean implementation
- Define measurable hypotheses and support experimentation
- Design responsibly for AI-assisted features within your domain
Influence & Team Impact:
- Present design rationale clearly and confidently
- Participate in critiques that elevate quality
- Collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, and Research
- Qualifications
3+ years of experience designing digital products
Robust interaction design and visual craft
Experience owning end-to-end initiatives
Comfort working with research and metrics
A portfolio demonstrating both
