Job Description - PMO & Operations Executive (IT Services)

Location - Chennai

Overview

The PMO & Operations Executive is responsible for supporting the delivery organization through structured project governance, resource management, operational reporting, and profitability tracking. The role ensures that key delivery metrics such as resource allocation, utilization, availability, project profitability, and staffing forecasts are visible and actionable for leadership and project managers. This position collaborates closely with Project Managers, Delivery Leads, Finance, and Talent Management teams to enable informed staffing decisions and optimize operational performance.
- Responsibilities
- Resource Management & Allocation

o Track and maintain up-to-date resource allocation across all active projects.

o Monitor resource utilization, bench strength, and future availability for upcoming assignments.

o Coordinate with Project Managers, Practice Leaders, and Client Principals to support staffing decisions based on skill, demand, and availability.





o Maintain a forward-looking resource forecast and staffing pipeline aligned to project demand.

o Hiring & Onboarding of Subcontract Resources.
- Project Financials & Profitability Reporting

o Track and report on project financial including revenue, cost, margins, and profitability.

o Assist in preparing project P&L; views and variance analyses

o Coordinate with Finance to validate revenue and costs and ensure data accuracy.

o Support compliance processes where applicable.
- Operational Reporting & Analytics

o Develop and publish Operations related performance dashboards including utilization, margins, staffing, forecast, and backlog.

o Enhance data visibility through consistent KPIs and structured performance reporting.

o Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Stakeholder Coordination & Communication

o Serve as an operational bridge between Project Managers, Delivery Leadership,
