Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end travel accounting processes, including booking, invoicing, and reconciliation.
- Handle IATA billing and settlement processes and ensure accuracy in reporting.:
- Maintain and reconcile travel-related expenses, vendor payments, and client invoices.:
- Monitor and account for travel packages, cancellations, refunds, and adjustments.:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.:
- Coordinate with internal teams and travel vendors for billing discrepancies and resolutions.:
- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and audit documentation related to travel operations.:
- Support internal and external audits with relevant data and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
- 2-5 years of experience in travel accounting / travel agency finance.
- Understanding of IATA processes (BSP, ticketing, settlement).
- Experience in travel package accounting and revenue recognition.
- Valuable knowledge of GST and compliance related to travel industry.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP B1)
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
