Role Overview

Miracles Fintech is looking for a Quantitative Researcher with ~ 2+ years of experience to contribute to the development of systematic trading strategies across NSE, BSE, and MCX markets.

This role bridges junior execution and senior research ownership — you will independently work on strategy components while collaborating with senior researchers on full lifecycle development.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop intraday and short-term quantitative trading strategies, including mean reversion, momentum, and spread/ratio-based approaches.
- Generate and validate new trading ideas using strong statistical reasoning, data-driven insights, and structured hypothesis testing.
- Work extensively with tick-level, per-second, and derivatives data, ensuring accurate data engineering, preprocessing, and dataset construction for research.
- Handle data challenges such as missing values,



forward-fill logic, inconsistencies, and anomalies to maintain high-quality research inputs.
- Perform rigorous backtesting and walk-forward analysis on historical datasets, evaluating performance using key metrics such as PnL, Sharpe ratio, and drawdowns.
- Identify and mitigate distortions in strategies caused by artificial spikes, data gaps, and execution-related factors such as slippage.
- Monitor live strategy performance and continuously compare backtest results with real-time behavior to ensure model stability and reliability.
- Optimize strategies for robustness, scalability, and execution efficiency in live trading environments.
- Collaborate with developers and trading teams to transition research models into production, ensuring low-latency compatibility and stable real-time outputs.
