Key Responsibilities:
- Carrier Vetting_
- Verify carrier credentials including MC authority, DOT status, and safety ratings
- Validate insurance documents (COI) for coverage and expiry
- Ensure carriers meet FMCSA and company compliance standards
- Compliance Monitoring_
- Track expiry of insurance, authority, and other compliance documents
- Follow up with carriers for timely updates
- Maintain accurate compliance records and flag risks
- Carrier Onboarding_
- Collect and verify onboarding documents (W-9, COI, MC authority, references)
- Ensure all compliance checks are completed before activation
- Update carrier profiles in TMS
- Documentation & Data Management_
- Maintain organized and secure carrier database
- Ensure data accuracy and timely updates
- Support internal and external audits
- Load Compliance Support_
- Ensure only compliant carriers are assigned loads
- Coordinate with operations team for compliance-related issues
- Assist in resolving escalations
- Tracking & Coordination_
- Work closely with tracking teams to ensure compliance during transit
- Report service failures or violations
- Reporting & Systems_
- Maintain reports on compliance ratio, document validity, and onboarding accuracy
- Share daily/weekly updates with management
- Work on TMS, load boards, and compliance tools
Eligibility Criteria:
- 6 months - 2 years of experience in US Logistics / Freight Brokerage
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, MC/DOT, COI, and carrier onboarding
- Good communication and follow-up skills
- Comfortable with US night shifts
