About the Role

This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage people, solve operational issues quickly, and ensure smooth plant functioning on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day plant operations and workforce activities
- Monitor production floor activities to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency
- Oversee plant staff attendance, discipline, task allocation, productivity, and performance
- Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, stores, procurement, and dispatch teams for seamless operations
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, GMP, hygiene, safety, and company policies
- Resolve daily operational bottlenecks and workforce issues promptly
- Monitor machine utilization, downtime, and production efficiency
- Support production planning and execution to meet daily/weekly output targets
- Handle administrative responsibilities related to plant operations, including documentation, housekeeping, facility management,



and vendor coordination
- Ensure proper maintenance of operational records and reporting
- Coordinate with HR for manpower planning, staff concerns, onboarding, and attendance management
- Drive discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement across the plant
- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and internal operational requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Operations / Manufacturing / Pharmacy / Science (preferred)
- 5-10 years of experience in plant operations / factory management / production supervision (experience in capsule / pharma / nutraceutical manufacturing preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing setting (nutraceutical / pharmaceutical / FMCG preferred)
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Good understanding of production operations, workforce supervision, and plant administration
- Ability to handle operational pressure and s
