Job Title: Mid Level Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for Konark Realtors. This role involves handling GST filings, expense tracking, and financial reporting, as well as assisting in preparing P&L; statements, balance sheets, and other reports critical for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate books of accounts for both companies using Tally, Zoho Books, or similar software.
- Record all daily transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely reconciliations.

2. GST & Tax Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns (monthly/quarterly as applicable) for both businesses.
- Handle TDS deductions, filings, and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with tax consultants for IT filings and compliance-related matters.

3. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly P&L; statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Track expenses vs. revenues,



highlighting any discrepancies or overspending.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Generate financial summaries for management to assess business health and plan investments.

4. Expense & Revenue Management
- Maintain detailed records of project-wise costs, vendor payments, and client receipts.
- Work with the design and real estate teams to forecast upcoming financial requirements.
- Monitor profit margins for design projects and real estate developments.

5. Audit & Compliance
- Assist in preparing documents for internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with Company Law, GST Act, and other applicable regulations.

6. Process Improvement
- Implement systematic expense tracking mechanisms for both companies.
- Suggest improvements in financial processes to optimize cash flow and working capital.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Com / M.Com in Accounting or F
