Senior Manager - Record to Report (RTR) Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring adherence to close timelines.
- Lead preparation and review of management and statutory financial reports in compliance with accounting standards.
- Drive governance, internal controls, and compliance with SOX, GAAP/IFRS requirements.
- Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and elimination processes across entities.
- Lead balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and timely resolution of variances.




- Collaborate with senior stakeholders (FP&A;, Controllers, Business teams) to drive reporting accuracy and insights.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process optimisation.
- Oversee audit activities and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Lead and mentor RTR teams, ensuring high performance, capability building, and delivery excellence.

Mandatory Requirements
- Proven experience in leading Record to Report (RTR) / General Accounting functions.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, month-end close, and accounting principles.
- Experience in shared services / GBS / BPO workplace.
- Hands-on experience in ERP platforms such as SAP / Oracle / Blackline.
- Strong stakeholder management and team leadership experience.
