Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized Pathology tests, including full blood counts, coagulation studies, and bone marrow preparations.
- Operate and maintain automated analysers and related laboratory equipment.
- Prepare blood smears and conduct manual differentials when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of tests and report findings to appropriate medical staff.
- Adhere to quality assurance protocols and participate in internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and standards.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Pathology laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
