Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic electrical repairs and maintenance.
- Handle carpentry work, including minor furniture repairs and fittings.
- Carry out painting and touch-up work as required.
- Manage basic plumbing and general maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and maintain DG sets and generators, including start/stop procedures, routine checks, and basic troubleshooting.
- Ensure power backup systems are functional at all times.
- Attend and resolve maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and follow safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with external vendors for major repair or servicing work.
- Support facility operations in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable workplace for residents.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in facility maintenance or a similar role.
- Knowledge of electrical, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and generator handling.
- Ability to handle multiple maintenance tasks independently.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and facility upkeep.
- Willingness to work in shift / rotational duties if required.
Preferred Qualification:
- ITI / Technical certification will be an added advantage.
- Experience in healthcare / senior living / facility management will be preferred.
