Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced In-House Trainer to design and deliver technical and soft skills training programs for employees in the automobile sector. The role involves enhancing workforce capability in areas such as vehicle systems, service operations, safety standards, and customer handling.
Key Responsibilities:Training Delivery
- Conduct technical training sessions on automobile systems (engine, transmission, electricals, diagnostics, etc.)
- Deliver product training for recent vehicle models and technologies
- Facilitate soft skills training (customer service, communication, sales techniques)
Content Development
- Develop training modules, manuals, presentations, and e-learning content
- Update training materials based on new technologies and company requirements
Skill Assessment
- Evaluate trainee performance through tests, practical assessments, and feedback
- Identify skill gaps and recommend improvement plans
On-the-Job Training (OJT)
- Provide hands-on training to technicians, service advisors, and sales staff
- Monitor and support employees during real-time work situations
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure training aligns with industry standards, safety norms, and company policies
- Maintain training records and documentation
Coordination
- Work closely with HR, service managers, and OEM partners for training needs
- Support onboarding and induction programs
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
- Certification in training (Train the Trainer) is an advantage
Experience:
- 3-8 years of experience in the automobile industry
- Prior experience in training, service, or technical roles preferred
Key Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts
- Hands-on diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and training tools
