Education Qualification & Experience:
1. Ph. D. Degree and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor's level or Master's level in the relevant Branch.
2. At least two successful Ph. D guided as supervisor/ co - supervisor and Minimum 8 research publications in SCI journals /UGC/AICTE approved list of journals
3. Minimum 15 years of experience in teaching/ research/insdustry, out of which atleast 3 years shall at the post equivalant to that of professor.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Admissions: Manage student's admission. Prepare Brochure/ Website for the institute reflecting the status of the institute, containing rules and regulations regarding attendance, award of sessional and practical marks, rules regarding use of library facility, extracurricular activities, penalties for indiscipline and ragging, codes and ethics for staff, students. To conduct orientation program for Newly admitted students.
- Administrative matters connected with staff and students with view to implement policies and guidelines laid down and to ensure proper discipline of staff and students.




- Accounts, Grants, Budget: Keep watch on Budgetary provisions, Grants receivables and inspection of Accounts. Consolidate list of requirements of Departments and Sections and plan timely procurement. Distribution of budget amongst the Departments as soon as received and to monitor the progress of utilization.
- Staff appointment and appraisal: Make proposal for appointment to all posts of cadres including contract, part time. Staff appraisal reports and arrange timely submission to higher authorities. Oversee the service records of faculty and non-teaching staff and get the service records periodically updated.
- To monitor Examination activities.
- To monitor Training and Placement activities and to take efforts for 100% placement, Alumni participation and promote entrepreneurship awareness amongst students To carry out the Incubation center activities.
