Hyderabad, India
- 3+ years- 3+ years of experience in content at a product-led SaaS, with at least 1 year managing a team of in-house or freelance writers
- Fluent written and spoken English, ideally with some experience writing for North American or European audiences
- Critical editing skills - you aren’t focused on the basics, but on ensuring that each task serves its intent and purpose
- Strong understanding of how modern SaaS users buy software, and how content plays a role in each stage of awareness
- A degree in English, communications or another related field is a bonus but not necessary
- Exceptional time management, delegation and communication skills
- Respect for deadlines and commitments that have been made
- Knows how modern search and social channels behave, what they reward, what they punish, etc.
- Experience using generative AI and other AI tools to improve team efficiency

Responsibilities:
- Managing the workflow, workload and deadlines of the editorial team from briefing to distribution




- Overseeing the Optmyzr publishing calendar and match it to the current needs of our audience
- Preparing content briefs for blog posts, buyer’s guides, solutions pages, video content, etc.
- Editing drafts of articles, copy and scripts with thoughtful feedback on message structure, sense, positioning, etc.
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve Optmyzr’s organic search presence and performance, including link building and on-page optimizations
- Contributing to Optmyzr’s content strategy covering the website, blog, YouTube, LinkedIn and Reddit
- Working with our Customer Marketing Manager to interview Optmyzr customers to uncover pain points and opportunities for content and distribution
- Supporting the team on execution when needed e.g. during crunch periods
- Fielding editorial pitches and ideas from team members, determining which ones to prioritize
