Role Overview
We are looking for a Safety Officer to oversee and implement safety practices across the plant, ensuring compliance with safety standards and minimizing workplace risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily shop-floor activities to ensure safe working practices
- Enforce use of PPE (helmets, gloves, safety shoes, etc.)
- Conduct safety inspections and identify hazards
- Maintain safety records and incident reports
- Train workers on safety procedures and emergency response
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements
- Coordinate with all departments to improve safety awareness
Requirements:
- Diploma / Certification in Industrial Safety (preferred)
- Basic understanding of shop-floor safety in fabrication or manufacturing
- Ability to identify hazards and enforce safety discipline
- Good communication and monitoring skills
- Responsible and proactive approach
