Position: Laser Machine Operator - Elevator Line or Manufacturing

Department: Production

Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Shop Floor In-Charge

Job Purpose

To operate laser cutting machines for elevator components, ensuring accurate cutting as per drawings, quality standards, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate laser cutting machine for elevator parts such as cabin panels, doors, frames, brackets, and sheets
- Read and understand engineering drawings and cutting layouts
- Set up machine parameters (program selection, material thickness, cutting speed)
- Perform material loading and unloading safely
- Check dimensions using measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometer, steel scale
- Ensure cut parts meet quality standards and tolerances
- Carry out basic machine cleaning and daily maintenance checks
- Identify and report machine issues, defects, or deviations to supervisor
- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S practices
- Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE




- Coordinate with QC and production team to meet daily targets

Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of laser cutting machine operation (Fiber / CNC Laser preferred)
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal and elevator components
- Familiar with measuring instruments
- Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
- Basic computer/program handling skills (preferred)

Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Turner, or related trade

Experience
- 1 to 5 years experience as Laser Operator
- Experience in elevator manufacturing or sheet metal industry preferred

Working Conditions

Factory / Shop floor environment

Rotational shifts or extended hours as per production requirement

Salary Up to 32k with the Documents.

Timing : 9: 00 AM to 6:00 PM

Monday to saturday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
