Responsibilities:
- Research and Summarization: Conduct literature reviews and research to gather relevant information on assigned scientific topics. Summarize findings in a clear and comprehensible manner.
- Familiarity with PubMed, Mendeley/Zotero:
- Scientific Writing: Assist in the development of scientific documents, including research papers, technical reports, and presentations. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to appropriate scientific writing conventions.
- Editing and Proofreading: Collaborate with team members to edit and proofread scientific documents, ensuring grammatical correctness, clarity, and coherence.
- Data Analysis: Support the scientific team in analyzing and interpreting data. Translate data into meaningful narratives for inclusion in scientific publications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with scientists, researchers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accurate representation of scientific findings.
- Documentation: Maintain organized records of research materials, literature, and drafts.
Assist in the preparation of documentation required for research publications.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in microbiology, biotechnology, or life sciences.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with scientific writing conventions and styles.
- Ability to synthesize complex scientific information into clear and concise language.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant scientific software.
- Detail-oriented and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
