We are looking for a versatile and hands-on 3D Generalist to contribute across Unreal Engine and Unity projects. This role focuses on creating high-quality 3D assets, implementing them into the engine, optimizing for real-time performance, and supporting the team wherever required during production.
You will play a key role in shaping the visual quality of our games while ensuring assets are production-ready, performant, and aligned with gameplay requirements.
Key Responsibilities
3D Asset Creation
Create high-quality 3D models for environments, props, and stylized assets.
Develop clean topology suitable for real-time performance.
Create and optimize UVs, textures, and materials following PBR workflows.
Produce LODs and ensure assets are optimized for PC and mobile platforms.
Engine Integration
Import and set up models, materials, and textures in Unreal and Unity.
Configure materials,
shaders, and lighting for real-time environments.
Ensure visual consistency across scenes and levels.
Troubleshoot asset-related visual issues inside the engine.
Production Support
Work closely with designers and developers to align assets with gameplay needs.
Modify and optimize assets based on performance and art direction feedback.
Support debugging of asset, material, and lighting-related issues.
Maintain asset organization and naming standards within projects.
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of:
Real-time asset creation for Unreal Engine and Unity.
PBR workflows and material creation.
Mesh topology, UV mapping, and texture optimization.
Solid knowledge of:
Lighting and scene setup in real-time engines.
LOD creation and performance optimization.
Asset export and engine-ready file preparation.
Experience with:
Stylized or semi-realistic 3D art production.
