About the Role

Boston Institute of Analytics (BIA) is hiring Sales Trainees for its academic counseling and admissions team. This role is designed for individuals who want to learn and build a career in sales, admissions counseling, and the EdTech industry.

Key Responsibilities During Training

1. Student Interaction & Lead Handling
- Communicate with prospective students via phone calls, WhatsApp, online inquiries, and scheduled sessions
- Understand student goals and learning needs
- Assist in guiding students through suitable program options

2. Program Knowledge & Counseling Support
- Learn and explain BIA programs in Data Science, AI, Cybersecurity, Investment Banking, and digital marketing.




- Share accurate information related to course structure, fees, payment options, and academic support

3. Admissions Process Exposure
- Support the admissions process including follow-ups, documentation, and coordination with internal teams
- Learn to manage student interactions using CRM systems

4. Follow-ups & Relationship Building
- Maintain clear and respectful communication with students and parents

5. Reporting & CRM Updates
- Update daily activity, call notes, and follow-up status in CRM tools
- Participate in reviews and feedback sessions during the training period

Evaluation & Career Progression

At the end of the training period, trainees will be evaluated on:
- Communication skills
- Product and process understanding
- Counseling effectiveness
- Qualified conduct and learning agility
