- Prepare, arrange, and maintain laboratory equipment and materials for practical sessions.
- Assist science teachers during laboratory experiments and demonstrations.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of chemicals, specimens, and apparatus.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the laboratory at all times.
- Keep accurate records of laboratory inventory, consumables, and equipment.
- Support students in understanding lab procedures and safety rules.
- Ensure compliance with school and education board laboratory guidelines.
- Assist in setting up laboratories for exams, practical assessments, and inspections.
- Educational Qualifications_
- Minimum HSC (Science Stream) from a recognized board OR:
- Diploma / Certificate in Laboratory Technology / Science Lab Assistant Course preferred.
- Graduate in Science (B.Sc. - Physics / Chemistry / Biology) will be an added advantage.
Work Experience
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Science Lab Assistant / Lab Attendant in a school or college.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and practical lab exposure may also apply.

- Understanding of laboratory safety protocols
