We are seeking a talented intern to join Kosarah, a contemporary Indian Luxury heritage maison exploring the visual languages, symbols, craftsmanship, and cultural memories that have travelled across generations.
Role Overview
Kosarah is a contemporary Indian Luxury heritage maison reimagining traditional symbols, craftsmanship, and cultural memory through modern storytelling and design.We are seeking a skilled Illustrator & Concept Art Intern to collaborate with our creative team in translating traditional patterns, heritage themes, and cultural motifs into contemporary concepts for characters, props, and environments. Beyond creating illustrations, you will contribute to shaping a distinctive visual language rooted in memory, craftsmanship, and culture.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Design: Study designated historical and textile motifs to establish an authentic visual grammar for character concepts and narrative props.
Asset Illustration:
Render detailed backgrounds and asset layouts that define the mood, color palette, and premium atmosphere of the animated worlds.
Required Skills & ExperienceArtistic Skill: Strong foundational drawing skills, with proven mastery over line work, geometry, and intricate pattern generation.
Cultural Literacy: Instinctive understanding of classical motifs and the ability to integrate detailed asset work into clean compositions.
Digital Proficiency: Advanced skills in tools like Photoshop or Procreate with an expert grasp of clean file asset structuring.
Production Mindset: Familiarity with animation or VFX workflows and understanding how design layers impact movement, file optimization, and rigging is highly preferred.
Portfolio
A compelling portfolio showcasing detailed line work, intricate pattern work, or traditionalconcept art is mandatory.
