We are looking for a young and energetic QA - Officer for our chicken processing plant. He will assist in maintaining Quality as per procedures and ensure 100% quality parameters in products. He has to plan, organize and direct his QC team to ensure there is no deviation in quality process flow and SOP’s
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the quality control in his area
- Follow laid down procedures of quality standards (ISO/ HACCP) to ensure food safety, statutory & company standards are maintained.
- Adherence to legal compliance of product and process including product labeling.
- Ensure the delivery of product for sale within specification.
- Maintain product traceability records
- Maintain all process monitoring records for audit purposes and documenting effectively
- Commit to plant quality procedures and prevent complaints.
- Monitoring factory and staff hygiene standards on daily basis and informing production/cleaning staff of any areas that require attention.
Requirement
- B.Sc., Life Sciences / M.Tech / B.Tech - Food Technology or equivalent degree
- Proven experience as QA in Meat industry with 3 - 5 years of experience
- Valuable communication and leadership skills
- Up-to-date with process involved in processing of meat and products
- Knowledge in basic computer programs (MS Office)
