Role Description The Asst Manager Purchase is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. The role involves managing day-to-day purchasing activities, including sourcing materials, obtaining quotations, negotiating prices and terms, and issuing purchase orders in line with company policies. The person in this role will coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery, maintain optimal inventory levels, and address any discrepancies related to quality, quantity, or documentation.



Responsibilities include maintaining vendor records, tracking purchase budgets, supporting cost optimization initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. The Asst Manager Purchase will also assist in vendor evaluation, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably related to electrical equipment or transformers.
Ability to source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate commercially sound contracts, and manage vendor relationships effectively.
Proficiency in using ERP or procurement software, MS Excel, and other relevant tools for tracking orders, inventory, and purchase data.
Understanding of basic commercial terms, taxation, logistics, and documentation related to industrial purchasing.
