The job holder will be a key member of the Scenario Design team, responsible for designing, maintaining and enhancing regulatory and management stress-testing scenarios across the Bank's global footprint. The role will contribute to the development of robust scenario narratives and macroeconomic projections, ensuring they remain relevant, credible and aligned with evolving business, risk management and regulatory requirements.
The individual will provide subject matter expertise on macroeconomic scenario design and scenario expansion methodologies (climate and non-climate scenarios). This includes identifying emerging and thematic risks, developing bespoke and regulatory stress-testing scenarios, assessing transmission channels and economic impacts, and supporting the continuous enhancement of the Bank's scenario framework.
The role will also support governance and decision-making processes through the preparation of high-quality analytical papers, recommendations and presentations for Expert Panels, senior management forums and risk committees.
Working closely with businesses, functions and external experts, the individual will support the Head of Scenario Design in advancing the Bank's scenario analysis capabilities and strategic risk management objectives.

Strategy
Design regulatory and non-regulatory macroeconomic scenarios (climate and non-climate scenarios).
Perform review and challenge and when required scenario expansion of key economic variables across the Group’s diverse footprint.
Present baseline and alternative scenarios to senior managers in forums, expert panels and committees.
Contribute to committee papers, structured data requests and other internal or external scenario-related reports.
Foster valuable working relationships and solicit input from Global Businesses and Global Functions and, where relevant, external vendors to enhance scenarios.
