About the Role
We are looking for a Finance Manager to take complete ownership of the company’s finance and accounting function at an early-stage, fast-growing Consumer AI startup.
This is a high-ownership role where you will work closely with the founders and be responsible for managing the company’s finance operations end-to-end — from accounting and compliance to financial planning, reporting, cash flow management and fundraising support.
What You’ll Own
Own end-to-end finance and accounting operations of the company
Prepare and manage P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements and monthly MIS
Build and maintain financial models, budgets, forecasts and cash-flow projections
Manage accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments, banking and payroll
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC/MCA and other statutory compliances
Coordinate with CAs, CSs, auditors, bankers and other external professionals
Manage audits and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Support fundraising, investor reporting, due diligence and financial documentation
Track company expenses,



identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency
Establish strong financial controls, processes and systems as the company scales
Work closely with the founders on financial decisions and strategic planning
Ensure the company maintains accurate, organized and up-to-date financial records
What We’re Looking For
3–6 years of experience in Finance & Accounting
Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, compliance and financial reporting
Strong Excel / Google Sheets and financial modelling skills
Experience with accounting tools such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or similar
Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax and corporate compliance
Startup experience is a strong plus
Ability to work independently and take complete ownership
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
CA / CMA / MBA Finance / Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field preferred
