Role Overview:
Seeking a qualified Urdu Teacher to teach Urdu language and literature to students (specify classes, e.g., VIX), in line with CBSE curriculum guidelines, fostering language proficiency, cultural appreciation, and academic excellence.

Role & responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Urdu lessons as per CBSE syllabus and academic calendar
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Urdu
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments aligned with CBSE guidelines
- Evaluate and grade student assignments, tests, and examinations
- Maintain accurate student performance records and progress reports
- Prepare students for CBSE board examinations (for senior classes)
- Encourage participation in Urdu literary activities, debates, poetry recitations, and cultural events




- Collaborate with fellow teachers and department heads for curriculum planning
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and staff meetings as required
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
- Stay updated with CBSE curriculum changes and teaching methodologies

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Urdu with B.Ed. (as per CBSE/NCTE norms) not mandatory
- CTET/State TET qualification (preferred/mandatory as per school policy) not mandatory
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Robust command over Urdu grammar, literature, and script
