1. Job Purpose

OSB India is seeking an experienced Quality Engineering Lead with 10+ years of experience in test automation, framework design, and quality strategy. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in building scalable automation solutions, preferably using the TypeScript/Node.js stack, and a solid background in defining and executing test strategies and plans. You’ll lead and mentor a high-performing QE team, collaborate closely with engineering and product teams, and drive innovation through automation and modern testing practices. This role involves working across multiple OSB Group sites and may include occasional travel.

1. Core Responsibilities

- Design and build end-to-end test automation frameworks and solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and CI/CD integrated.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript (Node.js stack preferred) — capable of designing reusable utilities, libraries, and test services.
- Define and execute the test strategy and plan, ensuring the right balance between automation and manual validation.
- Collaborate with developers, product, and DevOps to embed testing early in the delivery lifecycle and promote a quality-first culture.
- Leverage AI-based tools to improve test efficiency and defect detection; hands-on experience in building AI-driven solutions is an added advantage.
- Mentor and guide engineers on automation best practices, test design, and coding standards.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools,



frameworks, and approaches to enhance testing capabilities.

1. Experience Requirements

- 10+ years of experience in Automation Testing with knowledge in Full Stack preferred with working within Financial Services or Banking is desirable but not essential. Must have led a team of at least 10 automation testers.

1. Knowledge Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in test automation, with strong hands-on expertise in designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks.
- Proficient in TypeScript/Node.js, with practical experience using Playwright, Postman/Bruno, and other modern testing tools.
- Solid understanding of test strategy, planning, and execution across complex distributed systems.
- Experience working with APIs, microservices, and integration testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile delivery practices.
- Exposure to mobile test automation is an added advantage.
- AI exposure or hands-on experience in building or integrating AI-driven testing solutions is a plus.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills — capable of guiding teams and influencing quality across engineering functions.
