Job Summary

We are looking for a Registrar - General Surgery to join our clinical team in Bengaluru.

Location: Bengaluru

Qualification: MBBS + MS/DNB in General Surgery

Experience: 0-2 years preferred

Preferred Clinical Exposure: General Surgery | Emergency Care | Inpatient & Post-operative Care

Responsibilities

- Assist consultants in evaluating and managing surgical patients
- Conduct patient assessments and pre-operative evaluations
- Assist in surgical procedures and minor bedside procedures
- Provide post-operative monitoring and patient care
- Attend to inpatient and emergency surgical cases
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing teams and other departments
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Monitor patients and promptly escalate any clinical concerns
- Participate in rounds, case discussions and clinical handovers




- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient-safety standards

Qualifications

- We are looking for a clinically competent and responsible doctor with valuable surgical exposure, communication skills, clinical judgement and teamwork abilities.
- Candidates with exposure to General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Trauma Care and post-operative management will be preferred.
- Freshers may also be considered if they have strong clinical knowledge and relevant internship/clinical exposure.
