Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Site Incharge - BOP to manage and supervise Balance of Plant activities at wind project sites. The role will be responsible for site execution, contractor coordination, safety, quality, and timely completion of electrical and civil BOP works.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day BOP site activities and ensure project execution as per schedule.
- Supervise 33kV HT line, substation, pooling station and switchyard activities.
- Coordinate installation and maintenance of 100/200 MVA transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, CT, PT/CVT and protection systems.
- Monitor SCADA, communication and electrical systems related to BOP.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, OEMs, vendors and site teams.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with HSE/Safety procedures at the project site.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain site documentation.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with project/engineering teams for timely resolution.

Required Skills





- Strong knowledge of Wind BOP / Electrical BOP activities.
- Hands-on experience with 33kV HT systems, switchyard and substations.
- Knowledge of transformers, breakers, isolators, CT, PT/CVT and protection relays.
- Basic knowledge of SCADA and electrical communication systems.
- Strong contractor and manpower management skills.
- Valuable knowledge of testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Good communication, coordination and reporting skills.

Qualification

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in Wind Energy / Renewable Energy projects, Substations, Switchyards and BOP execution will be preferred.
