We are looking for a Plant Accountant to join our team and take charge of maintaining accurate and real-time plant accounts. The Plant Accountant will be responsible for handling plant finance-related MIS and monthly closing tasks. Additionally, they will manage plant cash requirements, reconciliations, and scrutinize plant invoices according to procedures with proper supportings and approvals.
The Plant Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring that proper internal controls and compliances are maintained at the plant for all documentation. Random inventory counts of raw materials, packaging materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods will be conducted to compare against book stock and establish the accuracy of inventory records.
Proficiency in SAP and MS-Excel is essential for this role to effectively manage financial data and reporting. The Plant Accountant will also be expected to undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Plant Manager, Plant Controller, or CFO as necessary.
Furthermore, the Plant Accountant will be involved in managing project teams,
ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and legal requirements, and preparing relevant reports related to financial aspects of projects.
