About the Role

Urjas Airtec Private Limited is looking for a Production Design Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. The role involves preparing production and fabrication drawings and working closely with the production team to convert engineering designs into practical manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed fabrication and production drawings from approved GA drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop sheet metal layouts, cut lists and assembly drawings for manufacturing.
• Work closely with the shop floor team to resolve design queries and ensure smooth production.
• Update drawings, BOMs and technical documents based on revisions and project requirements.
• Ensure designs follow applicable standards, fabrication practices and quality requirements.

Requirements

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.




• 1–3 years of experience in sheet metal design or production engineering. HVAC or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD 2D and basic MS Excel.
• Good understanding of fabrication processes, material specifications and shop floor practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn and improve.
