Role Description The Patient Care Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. The individual in this position supports patients throughout their care journey by managing appointments, coordinating services across departments, and ensuring explicit communication between patients and clinical teams. Daily responsibilities include handling phone calls, providing information about services and procedures, assisting with registration and documentation, and helping patients navigate the hospital. The role also involves maintaining accurate records,



monitoring follow-up schedules, and addressing patient queries or concerns with empathy and professionalism. The coordinator works closely with nurses, physicians, and administrative staff to promote a positive patient experience and efficient care delivery.
Qualifications

Strong patient-facing skills with experience in Patient Care and Care Coordination.
Proficiency in Appointment Scheduling and effective Phone Etiquette in a healthcare setting.
Working knowledge of Medical Terminology to communicate accurately with clinical staff and patients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
Basic computer skills, including use of hospital information systems and common office software.
Prior experience in a hospital or clinic
