Job Title: Principal Quality Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategy for global Equities trading platform
- Lead a team of QA engineers, providing technical mentorship and career development
- Design test automation frameworks for focusing on performance, reliability, and accuracy
- Establish quality metrics, testing standards, and best practices across the organization
- Collaborate with trading desk, and development teams to understand business requirements and trading strategies
- Implement testing processes for market data integration, order management, and execution algorithms
- Oversee performance testing, including latency analysis and capacity planning
- Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and tools
- Manage UAT processes with trading teams and key stakeholders for front to back initiatives
- Lead incident reviews and implement preventive measures

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years of software QA experience, strictly in financial services
- 7+ years of experience leading QA teams in trading systems or similar high-stakes environments




- Solid understanding of global financial markets, trading systems, and market data
- Expert knowledge of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/deployment
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java or C#
- Strong background in test automation tools and frameworks
- Automation background with Windows desktop GUI applications (i.e. not just web automation like Selenium).
- Experience with Ranorex, UFT , TestComplete or similar test automation software is preferred
- Execute end-to-end automation test scripts and interpret test data and test results.
- Experience with Git and build tools (Maven or Gradle).
- Experience Unix/Linux shell scripting, open-source tools, Jenkins, SQL and database technologies.
- Deep understanding of FIX protocol and other financial messaging standards
- Handson with GitLab, Jenkins/Gitlab CI
