Job Summary

Provide engineering governance, technical validation, construction assurance, and EPC oversight support for Solar PV projects; act as an independent technical review and approval authority supporting project execution teams.

Responsibilities

- Review & approve detail design documents like plant layout drawings (solar array, wind turbine layout, substations, pooling stations), general arrangement (GA) drawings, Installation principles and construction methodology documents
- Analyze Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
- Review and validate design of Module Mounting Structure (MMS) (fixed tilt & tracker)
- Verify design calculations (wind load, seismic, dead loads)
- Check foundation designs (pile / RCC / MMS systems)
- Validate design assumptions vs actual site conditions
- Ensure design adequacy, safety margins, and constructability
- Review vendor technical evaluation reports (TER)
- Validate compliance of Modules / PCS / Inverters, Transformers & BESS containers
- Coordinate and communicate with OEMs,



EPCs, and internal teams
- Ensure detailed review oriented with a solid focus on quality, compliance, and risk mitigation

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or any discipline
- Overall experience of 5-8 years

Qualifications

- Expertise in Staad Pro
- Experience with Module Mounting Structure (MMS)
- Hands-on experience with FAT procedures
- Strong experience with EPC projects
- Experience in Owner Engineering
- Experience in Lenders Engineering
- Experience in solar plant engineering and construction
- Knowledge of IS Codes & IEC standards
