Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager to lead the PPC function for a structural steel and heavy engineering fabrication facility. The role will focus on production planning, material coordination, capacity utilization, scheduling, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and monitor production plans, schedules, and work orders.
- Track daily production and Plan vs. Actual performance.
- Plan material requirements based on BOMs, drawings, and production schedules.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Stores, Quality, Design, and Projects teams.
- Manage manpower, machine capacity, WIP, and resource allocation.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate inspection, dispatch, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare DPR, MIS, and KPI reports.




- Drive improvements in planning accuracy, productivity, and operational efficiency.

Qualification & Experience

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 8uPHONE_NUMBER years of experience in PPC, Production Planning, or Manufacturing Planning.
- Experience in structural steel, heavy engineering, fabrication, EPC, pressure vessels, tanks, ducting, or similar industries preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, and material planning.
