- Manage New Product Development (NPD), Part/Component Development, Vendor Development and Strategic Sourcing for mechanical components and sub-assemblies.
- Handle RFQ, supplier evaluation/selection, techno-commercial discussions, cost negotiation and Zero-Based Costing.
- Develop casting, machining and forging parts while ensuring quality, cost and delivery targets.
- Manage project/program activities, PEP, VQP, change management and material ratio planning.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality and Manufacturing teams for project execution and part release.
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 48 years’ experience in purchasing/part development.
- Solid commercial, analytical, communication, organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with SAP, MS Office, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
