Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Presales Engineer with deep domain expertise in TDR (Transfer of Development Rights) exchange systems and urban development workflows. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between client needs, business requirements, and technical solutions for e-governance and building plan approval platforms. This role combines presales engagement, solution design, business analysis, and go-to-market support, requiring someone who can confidently engage with government bodies, urban local authorities (ULBs), and enterprise stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Presales & Solutioning

- Lead presales engagements for TDR exchange, building plan approval, and related e-governance solutions, from initial discovery through proposal and demonstration.
- Design and present tailored solution architectures that map client requirements to product capabilities.
- Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and workshops for government and enterprise clients.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders with compelling technical and functional proposals.
- Collaborate with delivery and product teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and scalable.

Domain Expertise – TDR Exchange

- Serve as the subject-matter expert on Transfer of Development Rights, DRC (Development Rights Certificate) generation and trading, sending/receiving zones, and associated regulatory frameworks.
- Advise clients on best practices for implementing TDR exchange platforms aligned with urban planning regulations and ULB requirements.
- Stay current on policy changes, DCR/UDCPR norms,



and statutory requirements affecting development rights.

Business Analysis

- Elicit, analyze, and document client requirements, translating them into functional specifications and solution blueprints.
- Develop use cases, process flows, and requirement documents to guide implementation.
- Identify gaps between client expectations and product capabilities, and recommend solutions.

Marketing & Go-to-Market Support

- Support marketing initiatives including product collateral, case studies, webinars, and industry presentations.
- Represent the company at conferences, trade events, and client engagements.
- Provide market and competitor insights to shape product positioning and sales strategy.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in presales, solutioning, or business analysis, preferably in e-governance, GovTech, or urban planning software.
- Demonstrated domain expertise in TDR exchange systems and development rights frameworks.
- Solid presales and solution design skills with a track record of winning proposals.
- Business analysis skills: requirement gathering, documentation, process modeling.
- Marketing acumen to support product positioning and demand generation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present to senior government and enterprise stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and consultative selling skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is highly appreciated, given the strong alignment with urban planning, building regulations, and development control domains.
- Exposure to building plan approval systems (e.g., AutoDCR-based platforms), ULB workflows, or GIS-based planning tools.
- Relevant business analysis certifications (e.g., IIBA ECBA/CCBA) are an advantage.
