ROLE SNAPSHOT
We are looking for a Senior Sourcing Lead to spearhead end-to-end strategic sourcing and category management across complex, high-value client portfolios. In this role, you will drive sourcing strategy, lead supplier negotiations, manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships, and deliver measurable outcomes across Direct and Indirect spend categories. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your domain, mentor and develop junior talent, and be a trusted advisor to client category managers.
This is your opportunity to operate at the forefront of procurement consulting — owning category strategy, driving supplier excellence, and shaping the future of global supply chains.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Sourcing & Category Leadership: Lead and execute end-to-end procurement and sourcing processes across assigned categories and sub-categories; understand Category Taxonomy and manage deliverables across Direct and Indirect spend. Market Intelligence & Benchmarking: Research industry trends and best practices; process data for benchmark analysis, supplier profiling, and financial risk assessments to support recommendations for periodic changes. Supplier Performance & Risk: Conduct periodic supplier evaluations, implement corrective actions, prepare supplier risk assessment reports, and deliver independent market intelligence and benchmarking reports. RFx & Supplier Negotiations: Develop and manage the RFx process across categories — including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs — lead supplier evaluation, negotiate contracts with new vendors,
and manage supplier relationships. Strategic Procurement Participation: Engage in strategic procurement exercises and vision/strategy sessions; provide category-specific insights to Client Category Managers to support the development of strategic goals and objectives. Spend & Operations Management: Lead in-depth Spend Analysis and Opportunity Assessment; manage Spot Buy, Tail Spend Management, and drive continuous improvement across sourcing operations. Supplier Relationship Management: Actively lead Supplier Risk Assessment, Contract Renewals, Contract Migration & Facilitation, Vendor Onboarding, Service Desk tasks, and Compliance Audits; work closely with the contracts team on contract red-lining and drafting. SOW Development: Translate business requirements into transparent and comprehensive Statements of Work; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and sourcing strategies. KPI & Analytics: Utilize analytical tools to assess supplier performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, track KPIs, and present findings to management and stakeholders. Negotiation & Contracting: Prepare negotiation scripts, negotiate favorable contract terms — covering pricing, quality, delivery, and service levels — qualify and on-board new vendors, and ensure compliance. Stakeholder & Category Development: Lead cross-functional sub-category teams, develop deep category knowledge, and proactively track and resolve noncompliance with preferred suppliers. Reporting & Dashboards: Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations — including Governance meeting decks — to communicate sourcing findings and recommendations to key stakeholders. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts; support team capability development and ensure adherence to client SLAs and delivery standards.
