About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Selenium Automation Tester to design, build, and maintain automated test suites that ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You'll work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to identify test scenarios, automate regression and functional testing, and help the team ship with confidence.

This role is a great fit for someone with solid hands-on Selenium experience who wants to take greater ownership of test strategy, framework design, and quality processes.

What You'll Do

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver for web application testing

- Build and enhance test automation frameworks (e.g., data-driven, keyword-driven, or hybrid frameworks)

- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into test cases and automation scripts

- Execute functional, regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing across web applications

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) for continuous testing

- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools, and work with developers to resolve them

- Perform root cause analysis on test failures and flaky tests, and continuously improve test reliability

- Maintain test data, test environments, and version-controlled test repositories

- Participate in sprint planning, story grooming,



and test strategy discussions in an Agile environment

- Contribute to test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation coverage reports

- Mentor junior QA team members on automation best practices as needed

What We're Looking For

Required:

- 35 years of hands-on experience in automated testing using Selenium WebDriver

- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model)

- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used with Selenium (Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript)

- Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)

- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (functional, regression, smoke, integration testing)

- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

- Strong analytical and debugging skills, with attention to detail

- Valuable communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have:

- Experience with additional automation tools/frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest)

- Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)

- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

- ISTQB or other relevant QA certification
