We are looking for a detail-oriented ETL Tester with strong SQL and database expertise to validate data across source and target systems. The candidate should have experience in ETL testing, API testing, data mapping validation, and UI testing within Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform ETL testing and validate data movement from source to target systems.
Create and execute test cases for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Validate data mapping and transformation rules as per business requirements.
Write complex SQL queries to perform data validation and reconciliation.
Analyze source and target database records to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Perform API testing using Postman and Swagger.
Conduct UI testing to validate data displayed in front-end applications.
Identify, log, track, and retest defects.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments.
Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
Required Skills
ETL Testing
Solid experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing.
Experience validating data flows, transformation logic, and data integrity.
SQL Skills
Ability to write complex SQL queries involving:
Joins
Subqueries
CTEs
Aggregate functions
Data comparison and reconciliation queries
Experience validating data between source and target systems.
API Testing
Hands-on experience with:
Postman
Swagger
Validation of REST APIs, request/response payloads, status codes, and data consistency.
