Job Summary:

We are looking for a Design & Sales Executive who can understand customer requirements, assist with product and design selection, prepare quotations, coordinate with architects and clients, and convert enquiries into confirmed orders. This is a combined design, customer consultation and sales role. The candidate will be responsible for handling the customer from the initial enquiry through design and product selection, quotation, follow-up and final order confirmation.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Customer Consultation &

Design Attend enquiries from individual customers, architects, interior designers, builders and developers. Understand customer requirements including design, dimensions, application, finish, functionality and budget. Assist customers in selecting suitable door designs, materials, veneers, laminates, colours, finishes and hardware. Recommend appropriate products based on the customer's design and technical requirements. Present available design options, samples and product specifications to customers. Coordinate with the internal design and technical teams for customized requirements.

2. Drawings &

Specifications Read and understand architectural drawings, floor plans, door schedules and BOQs. Identify door quantities, dimensions, types, finishes and other specifications from drawings and schedules. Prepare or coordinate basic drawings and product presentations wherever required. Ensure that the specifications discussed with the customer are properly documented before quotation.

3. Client Quotations

Prepare detailed client quotations based on approved designs, specifications, quantities and project requirements. Convert door schedules, BOQs and customer requirements into accurate quotations. Select the correct product specifications, materials, finishes, hardware and accessories while preparing quotations. Coordinate with the estimation, purchase, technical and production teams for costing wherever required.



Clearly mention the scope of supply, installation, transportation, taxes, payment terms, delivery terms, inclusions and exclusions. Prepare revised quotations whenever there are changes in quantities, dimensions, designs, finishes or specifications. Maintain proper records and version control of quotations and revisions. Obtain internal approval for special pricing, discounts or non-standard commercial terms.

4. Sales &

Order Conversion Follow up regularly on all enquiries and quotations. Discuss technical and commercial queries with customers. Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within the company's approved limits. Work towards converting quotations into confirmed orders. Develop and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, builders and developers. Generate new enquiries through existing customers, architect networks, project leads and market development. Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular updates on enquiries, quotations and expected orders.

5. Order Confirmation &

Internal Handover Verify the final design, specifications, quantities, pricing and commercial terms before accepting an order. Ensure that all customer approvals and required documents are obtained. Coordinate with the internal team for Sales Order / ERP entry after confirmation. Properly hand over confirmed orders to the production/project execution teams. Ensure there is no difference between what was quoted and committed to the customer and what is communicated internally.

6. Site &

Client Coordination Visit customer sites, architect offices and project locations whenever required.



Take or verify basic site information required for preparing proposals and quotations. Coordinate with the project/site team where technical clarification is required. Attend meetings with architects, designers, contractors and customers as required.

Job Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Design, Business or a related field.

Experience in doors, furniture, interiors, kitchens, wardrobes, flooring, architectural hardware, building

materials or related industries is preferred.

Good understanding of materials, colours, finishes and interior design concepts.

Ability to understand architectural drawings, door schedules and BOQs.

Good numerical and commercial understanding for preparing quotations.

Strong communication, presentation and customer-handling skills.

Comfortable with sales targets, negotiations and regular customer follow-ups.

Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar software would be an advantage. Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and ERP/CRM systems is preferred.
