- Install, configure, and maintain Hadoop cluster environments.
- Administer Hadoop ecosystem components including HDFS, YARN, Hive, and MapReduce.
- Monitor cluster health, performance, storage utilization, and capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot production, performance, and platform-related issues.
- Implement security, backup, recovery, and access management procedures.
- Perform cluster upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
- Optimize Hadoop platform performance and reliability.
- Support Data Engineering and Analytics teams in resolving cluster-related issues.
- Ensure platform availability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Hadoop Administration.
- Robust Linux/Unix administration skills.
- Experience with Cloudera Hadoop distributions.
- Strong knowledge of HDFS, Hive, and YARN.
- Experience in cluster monitoring and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of Kerberos security and access management.
- Exposure to Spark, Oozie, Sqoop, or Big Data technologies is preferred.
- Experience handling production support and critical incidents.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
